188 MORE DAYS!
The countdown has started and the website has been launched! SolidWorks WORLD 2011 will be held in San Antonio, Texas on January 23-26 at the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center. Last week the official SolidWorks WORLD 2011 website was launched which means that we are getting closer every day to the greatest CAD conference available.
Registration has not yet opened (early August 2010) but once it days make sure you sign up early so that you can enjoy the early bird specials that are offered. You can find all of those details here.
The user agenda will be available mid-September of 2010 and if it is anything like other years, it will be absolutely great.
So make sure you bookmark the website and check it regularly to stay up to date on all of the latest news for SolidWorks WORLD 2011.
Jason, wondering about expenses to attend here. I see in the list that there are some pricey places mentioned and just wonder if SW may have arranged for lodging at cheaper places too? Does SW put preassure on you to attend their recommended list Hotels only?

i am guessing that the hotels listed are the only ones that solidworks has set up “special deals” with for attendees of the event BUT by no means do they pressure you to use their recommended hotels. in fact, there are a lot of people that stay at other nearby hotels that are a lot cheaper. i would do a quick search for hotels close to the conference center and compare the prices.
one thing that i have found over the past few years of attending is that it is really nice to be within walking distance to the conference so take that for what its worth.
