Hey guys
You have the cannot click next problem, I did too! My main problem was I had previously had a hacked version of Solidworks and the legal version I was trying to install was finding files from the hacked version still on my computer. Solidworks leaves crap everywhere on your computer so first try the steps on this website....

http://symsolutions.com/wordpress/2010/06/clean-uninstall-of-solidworks/

Then if that does not work you need to delete a particular file from your registry. Not sure if you guys know how to do this so I will explain.

First click your start bar and in the search bar at the bottom enter regedit and open it.
Secondly when this is open do not do anything quickly since this is a sensitive area of your computer and can do a lot of damage if messed with.
Thirdly the site above mentions the files to delete if your problem was the same as mine.
Fourthly if all this fails then there is a file in the the registry to delete which looks like it has nothing to do with Solidworks but deleting it works, it has worked from me about 5 minutes ago.

In the registry you have to go to HKEY_CURRENT_USERS\software\microsoft\windows\CurrentVersion\InternetSettings\Zones

In the fold Zones there is a key with a box characted (it looks like a letter L). Delete this key and all should be solved.

Hope this helps =]

The problem I have is in deciding whether to do an upgrade to an existing installation, or remove it and start with a new installation, or install the new separate from the old and keeping the old version also.
